Join ACFW DFW via Zoom on Saturday, September 12, 2020 – 10:30a-12p with award-winning author, Mindy Obenhaus as she presents, God is in the Details, and We Should be, Too. She will use this time to share with and guide us on how we can craft characters our readers will care about beyond the “The End.”
Obenhaus traces her love of romance back to the first time she saw Cinderella. Little did she know one day she would be penning her own love stories filled with faith, family and happily ever afters. She’s done just that though with books such as her “Rocky Mountain Heroes” series, and multiple stand-alone books for HarlequinTM Love Inspired, along with her newest release in the “Bliss, Texas” series – “A Father’s Promise.”
She is passionate about touching readers with Biblical truths in an entertaining, sometimes adventurous, manner. Speaking of adventurous, she seems to get some of that in her daily life, living on a Texas ranch with her husband, two sassy pups, countless cattle, deer and the occasional coyote, mountain lion, or snake. When she’s not writing she can be found in the kitchen, spending time with her grandchildren, or watching copious amounts of the Hallmark Channel.
Her contemporary Christian romance novels have won the HOLT Medallion Award and been finalists for the ACFW Carol Award and the Faith, Hope and Love Reader’s Choice Award.
