May 20201 – Cybersecurity: What We’re Up Against …

Join ACFW DFW online on Saturday, May 8, 2021, from 10:30a-12p for, Cybersecurity: What We’re Up Against and How to Kick the Bad Guys’ Butts, with Greg Scott.

No one at the NSA, CIA, FBI, DHS, Google, Facebook, Microsoft, or any other public or private organization will keep us safe on the Internet. That’s not because these organizations don’t have smart people—they do—but because we, the public, are on the front lines, and it’s up to us. Greg will share a few numbers, war stories, as well as tactical and strategic cyber safety advice he’s learned at the school of hard knocks.

Scott is the author of Bullseye Breach and Virus Bomb, two novels that feature cybersecurity. He’s written columns for IT industry publications such as ENT Magazine, and Linux Enterprise Magazine. By day, Greg works for an enterprise software company. He earned a degree from Wabash College with a double major in math and speech. Later, he earned an MBA from the University of St. Thomas. Scott resides with his wife, daughter, and grandkids in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area.
